New Music Friday: Listen To Releases By Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Latto & Ice Spice, And More
The first week of September is full of surprises! Check out unexpected and highly anticipated new tunes from aespa, d4vd, Tom Odell, and other stars.
We've made it to September, and though summer may be dwindling to a close, the flood of exciting new music shows no sign of slowing.
It's been a particularly huge week for K-pop fans, with a litany of new releases including MONSTA X's THE X, NCT WISH'S COLOR - The Third Mini Album, TREASURE's 3rd Mini Album [LOVE PULSE], ZEROBASEONE's NEVER SAY NEVER, JUN. K's Dear my muse and ILLIT's Toki Yo Tomare. Plus, PURPLE KISS unveil their final EP, OUR NOW, before their upcoming disbanding in November and DAY6 drop THE DECADE. And in addition to all of the new projects, a slew of K-pop tours kicked off this week as well.
Other albums include SG Lewis' Anemoia, Rob Thomas' All Night Days, Joni Mitchell's 61-track box set Joni's Jazz, Tchotchke's Playin' Dumb and Big Thief's Double Infinity. Meanwhile, Jessica Simpson continues charting her long-awaited comeback with Nashville Canyon, Pt. 2, The Last Dinner Party unsheath "The Schythe" in preparation for their sophomore album From The Pyre, grandson proves he's done his physics homework with INERTIA, Grupo Firme joins forces with Grupo Frontera on "Modo Difícil" and El Michels Affair drops 24 Hour Sports.
Below, press play on 10 more can't-miss releases of the week, including a spooky Wednesday-themed single from Lady Gaga, a surprise sequel to SWAG from Justin Bieber, a Fortnite anthem courtesy of d4vd and more.
Lady Gaga — "The Dead Dance"
The category may have been dance or die when "Abracadabra" dropped in February, but now it's time to do "The Dead Dance," Little Monsters! Lady Gaga's irresistible new single appears on the Season 2 soundtrack of "Wednesday" following Mother Monster's long-hyped appearance as (spoiler alert!) Rosaline Rotwood, but it's also been added to the reissue of MAYHEM alongside bonus tracks "Can't Stop the High" and "Kill For Love."
Complete with a spooky, ooky music video directed by the one and only Tim Burton, Gaga turns "The Dead Dance" into a sure-to-be-viral sensation as she announces, "You've created a creature of the night/ Now I'm haunting your air, your soul, your eyes…Yeah, I'll keep on dancin' until I'm dead."
Not only does the new song manage to boogie down the path paved by "Bloody Mary," it's bound to be an inescapable hit on par with "The Monster Mash" come All Hallow's Eve.

Justin Bieber — SWAG II
Just when his loyal Beliebers thought he couldn't possibly have more swag, Justin Bieber surprised the world by announcing SWAG II would be arriving Friday at midnight with digital billboards projected on landmarks around the globe. And while the sequel may have taken a few extra hours to hit streaming services, the pop star added 23 new tracks to his SWAG era.
The two-time GRAMMY winner continues the laid-back, lo-fi sound that defined the sound of SWAG earlier this summer, though there's a marked pop-centric immediacy to standouts like "SPEED DEMON," "LOVE SONG" and the Tems-assisted "I THINK YOU'RE SPECIAL." The second chapter of SWAG also features additional collaborations with Bakar ("DON'T WANNA"), Hurricane Chris ("POPPIN' MY S***"), Lil B ("SAFE SPACE") and Eddie Benjamin ("OPEN UP YOUR HEART").

Latto & Ice Spice — "GYATT"
Latto and Ice Spice entered the chat on Thursday (Sept. 3) with their braggadocious new collab, "GYATT." Rumors of a feud between the pair have been perpetuated for years, and in the track's video, the two rappers playfully put those rumors to bed once and for all by facing off in a heavyweight wrestling match straight out of the WWE.
"A bitch like me walk in, they turnin' heads, they be like, 'Gyatt!'" Latto declares before tossing the mic to Ice Spice for the second verse. Naturally, plenty of twerking, performative wrestling moves and even some lap-dancing ensues in the ring before, eventually, both GRAMMY nominees are declared winners by the referee.

aespa — Rich Man - The Sixth Mini-Album
On their sixth mini-album, Rich Man, aespa display an unwavering confidence as they suffuse their futuristic K-pop through genre after genre — from the whistling hip-hop of "Drift" and the R&B flow of "Count on Me" to the airy, delicate pop of the English-language "Angel #48" and the message of heartfelt empowerment the quartet share on closer "To The Girls."
Meanwhile, the mini-album's title track — which takes its sentiment from the famous quote by Cher — arrives with a high-octane accompanying music video. In the Lee Ok-seop-helmed visual, members KARINA, WINTER, GISELLE and NINGNING find themselves getting down and dirty, whether they're dominating on the football field, working on the farm or performing in front of an arena full of cheering fans.

d4vd — "Locked & Loaded (Official Fortnite anthem)"
"You should have noticed I've been focused/ You should have known I'm locked and loaded," d4vd warns on "Locked & Loaded," the soundtrack to this year's 2025 Fortnite Global Championship — which is set to begin Sept. 16 in Lyon, France. The Battle Bus-ready track serves as triumphant proof of just how far the "Feel It" singer (and longtime Fortnite gamer) has come from his roots on YouTube, where he started penning original music to avoid copyright disputes on the Fortnite montages he would upload back in 2021.**
"Fortnite has been such a big part of my life and it's what led me to make music in the first place," d4vd said in a press release. "Being able to create the official anthem for Fortnite feels like a true full-circle moment. Fortnite gave me a space to be creative and connect with people all over the world, and that same energy is what I wanted to put into this track. It's more than a song — it's me giving back to something that's shaped my story as an artist. And even now, playing Fortnite is still my true passion."

Queen Naija — "rain…"
Queen Naija channels the tried-and-true sounds of classic R&B on "rain…," the lead-off for her upcoming EP. The track is her first new release since the 2024 trio of singles "Straight Outta Heaven," "Missing You" and "Good Girls Finish Last."
"I had to remind y'all that no matter how versatile I can get, R&B will continue to run through my veins," the singer said in a statement about the track, on which she seductively croons, "Baby, I got it on a plate/ Ooh, tell me you haven't ate/ Say that you're on the way/ Don't know if I can stand the wait."
Ivy — Traces of You
In 2020, Ivy suffered a devastating loss when multi-instrumentalist and co-founder Adam Schlesinger tragically passed away from COVID-19. Five years later, the pop band's two surviving members, Dominique Durand and Andy Chase, have returned with Traces of You, Ivy's first album of new material since 2011's All Hours.
The LP is quite literally filled with traces of Schlesinger, who contributes posthumously across all 12 tracks thanks to fragments and demos the band had recorded from 1995 to 2012. "It's been a gift to have discovered old unfinished ideas we did with [Adam]," the duo shared in a press release. "It's been even more of a gift to have had the chance to finish them recently and now be able to present them for you. We hope you'll enjoy hearing pieces of our past and glimpses of our future as we continue our musical journey."
Fujii Kaze — Prema
It's been three-and-a-half years since LOVE ALL SERVE ALL, Fujii Kaze's sophomore album, and the Japanese singer is still all about the love when it comes to his third studio effort, Prema. Not only does the new record contain prerelease singles "Hachikō" and "Love Like This," it's also filled with earnest highlights like morbidly flirtatious opener "Casket Girl," '80s-influenced banger "I Need U Back" and the funky, rapturous title track, which allows the pianist to show off his talents on the keys.
While making Prema, Kaze's motivations in the studio were to craft something, "pure, simple, uplifting," as he explained in a press release accompanying the album (whose Sanskrit title translates to "Supreme Love" in English). "It's more than just music for me, it's a lifestyle," the singer continued in his statement. "With this record, I wanted to be love itself — selfless, spiritual, and supreme love — Prema."

Tom Odell — A Wonderful Life
**Tom Odell fearlessly and eloquently gives voice to the anxieties, frustrations and seemingly never-ending unprecedented times of the current moment on his sardonically titled seventh studio set, A Wonderful Life.**
Written over the course of nine months on the road, the English singer/songwriter's new album was meticulously crafted lyric upon lyric. "I labored over every line," he said in a statement upon the unveiling of pre-release single "Don't Cry, Put Your Head on My Shoulder." "I went in on those words every day, just refining and refining and refining. I can be a bit obsessive, and the obsessive part of me is…the bit that does not give up on songs."
AJR — What No One's Thinking
Fresh off their first-ever arena tour last summer, the brothers of AJR are grappling with a cavalcade of uncomfortable emotions and hard truths on What No One's Thinking, the five-track follow-up to their 2023 album The Maybe Man. In a teaser released on social media ahead of its release, middle brother and lead vocalist Jack Met revealed that the band was hit with a serious case of writer's block when they first sat down to write the new EP, before coming to the realization, "We were suppressing a lot of s—."
He further described the project as "a collection of songs we did not want to have to write," and the EP touches on everything from putting off confronting a floundering romance on opener "The Plane That Never Lands" or filtering an all-too-human crisis through the eyes of an unfailingly loyal companion on "A Dog Song."

New Music Friday: Listen To Releases By Ed Sheeran, Gunna, Jonas Brothers & More
From an unexpected collab between Marshmello and Jelly Roll to anticipated projects by Ethel Cain, Bryson Tiller and mgk, check out some of the week's hottest new songs and albums.
The summer heat may be showing no signs of letting up one week into August, but neither does the season's red-hot release schedule of new music.
Amaarae shines on Black Star, Bailey Zimmerman stampedes through Different Night Same Rodeo, Big Freedia paints a portrait of gospel-rooted resilience on Pressing Onward, The Black Keys unveil No Rain, No Flowers and Miley Cyrus gifts fans with five new edits from Something Beautiful.
Elsewhere, Good Charlotte checks into Motel Du Cap on their first full-length in nearly seven years, J.I.D insists God Does Like Ugly on his fourth studio set and Jeremy Jordan, Lizzy McAlpine and company shed gorgeous light the real-life story of a doomed 20th century cave explorer on the long-awaited original Broadway cast recording of Floyd Collins.
As far as new songs go, Laufey finds inspiration in the story of "Snow White," keshi makes his desires clear on "WANTCHU," Lucy Dacus surprises with dual singles "Bus Back to Richmond" and "More Than Friends," KATSEYE remix "Gabriela" with help from Young Miko and Disclosure partner with Anderson .Paak for "NO CAP."
Plus, Lauren Alaina puts the "Little Things" in perspective, Ole 60 insist they "Really Wanna Know," Hit-Boy joins forces with Spank Nitti James for "Eat Couch" and Wolf Alice drops "White Horses."
Below, press play on 10 new releases to soundtrack your weekend, from new songs by Ed Sheeran and Marshmello with Jelly Roll to albums from Gunna, Jonas Brothers, mgk and more.
Ed Sheeran — "A Little More"
Someone hacked Ed Sheeran's social media accounts last week, with the singer's official headquarters warning fans that the shadowy, redheaded figure in an orange hoodie dating back to circa 2011 had posted an unreleased track that just so happened to be a "total banger" to Sheeran's profile.
The rascal-y troublemaker in question turned out to be none other than Rupert Grint, who last co-starred with the then-nascent pop star in the music video for his +-era single "Lego House." Nearly 15 years after that album earned Sheeran his first trio of GRAMMY nominations, the superstar has reteamed with his celebrity doppelgänger for "A Little More," the latest single off his forthcoming eighth album, Play.
The cheeky music video for the track picks up right where the "Lego House" narrative left off, with Grint's character being released from prison after a 14-year stint for, well, sort of stalking Sheeran. This time, however, the "Sapphire" singer is utterly inescapable despite his best efforts to stay on the straight and narrow. Just wait until Grint pulls back the veil of his bride on his wedding day (and stick around for the first dance!).

Gunna follows last year's One of Wun with both a sequel and a self-pronounced ending in the form of The Last Wun.
Across a whopping 25 tracks, the rapper makes yet another bid for hip-hop greatness with help from A-list pals like Offset ("at my purest"), Burna Boy ("wgft"), Wizkid ("forever be mine"). However, the vast majority of the album finds Gunna ably handling the mic all on his own, including on previously released singles like "him all along" and "won't stop," which close out the full-length with a certified one-two punch.
For their seventh album, Greetings From Your Hometown, Jonas Brothers brought their music back to its roots, transporting themselves back to the New Jersey family room where their musical ambitions as both a band and brothers began.
Whether or not the project outsells Kelly Clarkson — as they once prepubescently predicted on "Year 3000" — the siblings' new music is a testament to the old adage that home is where the heart is, whether they're tapping into their early love for the Bee Gees on disco-infused single "No Time To Talk," harmonizing their way through standout ballad "When You Know" or enlisting Switchfoot to help deliver the sentimental "Greetings" of the title track.

Bryson Tiller — 'The Vices'
The Vices is just one half of Bryson Tiller's upcoming double album, Solace & The Vices, which is slated to be unveiled in full on Oct. 2.
Taking cues from the duality of now-classic projects like Nelly's 2004 concept albums Sweat and Suit, The Vices leans hard into the artist's rap persona, featuring guest appearances from the likes of Rick Ross ("Mini Kelly"), Plies and T-Pain ("200 Bands"), Bun B ("Burnout") and more. Meanwhile, Solace will reportedly complement the hip-hop-induced sounds of the newly-released installment with a return to Tiller's well-documented R&B roots.
BABYMETAL enlist virtually everyone who's anyone in the metal scene to contribute to the kawaii stylings of their aptly titled fifth full-length, METAL FORTH.
Not only is the album the first to feature member Momometal since she was promoted from Avenger status in 2023, its 10-song track list is packed to the gills with a truly diverse array of guest features — from Poppy on melodic opener "from me to u" and Slaughter to Prevail on "Song 3" to Tom Morello on the hard-charging "METALI!!," India's Bloodywood on the chant-ready "Kon! Kon!" and even Bring Me the Horizon's Jordan Fish behind the boards as an executive producer.

Marshmello x Jelly Roll — "Holy Water"
Pour one out for "Holy Water," Marshmello's link-up with Jelly Roll. The song pays tribute to the sudden passing of an unnamed friend as the latter mourns, "One tear for the brokenhearted/ Pour out a little holy water/ Two tears for the soul departed/ Pour out a little holy water."
Despite its sad subject matter, the high-profile collab appears to have earned Jelly Roll some serious street cred at home, with the four-time GRAMMY nominee gleefully announcing, "MY SON FINALLY THINKS I'M COOL!!" alongside a video of the DJ presenting him with a "Jelly Mello" helmet — complete with recreations of his famous face tattoos to boot.
Zach Bryan and Kings of Leon are "in it for the long haul" on their new single "Bowery." The rootsy track arrives just weeks after "Madeline," the first preview of the country singer's long-gestating EP With Heaven on Top, and finds him matching tones with the rock band's frontman Caleb Followill as they sing, "You picked the wrong one if you're in it for the long run/ I got the passion but I don't give it away/ But when the time's right, I'm a hell of a good night."
For his part, the country singer seems positively bowled over to be working with the "Use Somebody" GRAMMY winners, calling the collaboration the "honor of [his] life" in a proud Instagram post announcing the duet.

Ethel Cain — 'Willoughby Tucker, I'll Always Love You'
The fact that Ethel Cain's hotly anticipated sophomore full-length contains a mere 10 songs on its track list is a welcome deception, considering the singer's love letter to one Willoughby Tucker clocks in at an hour and 13 minutes by the end of the ambitious closer (which, for the record, runs at more than 15 minutes alone).
As it turns out, pre-release singles "Nettles" and "F— Me Eyes" only hinted at the grandeur and mythmaking contained in Willoughby Tucker, I'll Always Love You. Emotional centerpiece "Dust Bowl" unfurls a creeping tale of 8th grade death pacts and drive-in movies with the "pretty boy, natural blood-stained blonde" that turned out to be Cain's first love.
Meanwhile, instrumentals like "Willoughby's Theme" and "Radio Towers" add haunting foreshadowing to the cyclone of destruction that arrives on penultimate track "Tempest" and leaves Cain lamenting, "I never meant to hurt you/ But somehow, I knew I would/ Will it be like this forever?" on that aforementioned closer, "Waco, Texas."
Following his high-profile singles with Shaboozey and Bailey Zimmerman, BigXthaPlug completes a hat trick of countryfied collabs for the year 2025 by teaming up with Ella Langley for the scathing "Hell At Night."
With her Southern twang, Langley lays the foundation of heartbreak and revenge on the opening verse: "I hope it's hell at night/ Straight through the mornin'," she sings on the subsequent hook. But it's the rapper who really lets it rip with a laundry list of less-than-well wishes for an unlucky ex like, "I hope you finally find some love and every day he hurts your feelings" and "I hope you have a nightmare every single day of your life." Ouch.
"All the pages are blank till my life goes to s—/ I know I do that on purpose just to write again," mgk confesses early on "outlaw overture," the exhilarating, gear-shifting opener to his seventh album, lost americana.
The artist formerly known as Machine Gun Kelly is the king giving himself a clean musical slate, — as evidenced by his skillful pivots from Cleveland rapper to pop-punk revivalist to emo sad boy and back again — and if Bob Dylan narrating the album trailer was any indication, he'd be reinventing himself once again on the new full-length.
Mgk's latest left turn blasts straight down the interstate through America's heartland, retaining some of the crunchy guitars and bright melodies he delivered on 2020's Tickets to My Downfall and 2022's GRAMMY-nominated mainstream sellout while adding dashes of synth and interpolations of Third Eye Blind to the, frankly, raucously fun proceedings.

Below, press play on 10 exciting new releases, including singles by Ciara and Latto, Tim McGraw, That Mexican OT and Peso Peso and more.
Chappell Roan — "The Subway"
Stand clear of the closing doors, because Chappell Roan is turning public transit into a constant reminder of the one who got away. That's right, a full year after debuting the track live during her record-breaking Governors Ball set, the pop star has finally released "The Subway" as her second single of 2025.
The reigning Best New Artist GRAMMY winner tries her best to move on from heartbreak and avoid meltdowns both public and private as she sings, "It's never over/ 'Til I don't look for you on the staircase/ Or wish you thought that we were still soulmates/ But I'm still counting down all of the days/ 'Til you're just another girl on the subway."
In the whimsical music video, Chappell plays something of a cross between Rapunzel and a lovelorn Cousin It as she chases her faceless, green-haired former flame through basically every facet of New York City traffic before eventually declaring, "Well f— this city, I'm moving to Saskatchewan."

After a years-long pivot back to her punky pop roots, Demi Lovato returns to the dance floor with "Fast," the first taste of her forthcoming, as-yet-untitled ninth studio album.
"I wanna go fast," the pop star intones on the hook over a thumping, Zhone-produced beat. However, she seems to be in decidedly little hurry in the track's accompanying music video, gliding through a studio backlot as fire and uninhibited chaos erupt around her.
While the visual lays the foundation for a new musical era, it also calls back to her early days. At one point, she even passes a display of glitchy TV screens featuring the most viral moments from her past — Disney knees, mugs and Poot included.

It's only been three weeks since TWICE unveiled THIS IS FOR, their excellent fourth Korean-language album. But the K-pop idols are already back with "ENEMY," the first taste of their upcoming Japanese album of the same name, which arrives in full at the end of the month.
Taking plenty of cues from the crunchy guitars and booming drums of pop-punk, the emotive single shows off a new shades to the girl group's well-honed sound and aesthetic. And "ENEMY" isn't the only new offering from the nine-piece in this week's new music round-up, either: TWICE also joined forces with Saweetie for Y2k-leaning highlight "superstars" on the rapper's HELLA PRESSURE EP.

"I couldn't wait for this moment," Ciara declares at the top of her newest single, "This Right Here," and she has good reason. To mark Atlanta's second annual "Official Ciara Day" on July 28, the R&B icon teamed up with fellow Georgia peach Latto for the kind of swaggering, Jazze Pha-produced banger fans have been waiting all summer long to hear.
The feel-good track marks the latest single off the GRAMMY winner's long-awaited eighth album, CiCi, which will finally be released Aug. 22, six years after 2019's Beauty Marks. "THIS RIGHT HERE is just everything!" Ciara captioned a sweet video with Jazze Pha on social media upon dropping the song, adding in a separate press release, "'This Right Here' is the type of collaboration I always dreamt of! Being together with my hometown friends on this record means so much to me!"

Ominous blasts of horns heralds Rema's new single, "Kelebu," before the Nigerian artist launches into a breathless, incessant repetition of the song's title interspersed with chants of "Madam, madam."
Rema has also been spawning a viral dance challenge in the lead-up to the song's release, which arrives on the heels of fellow singles "Baby (Is It a Crime)" and "Bout U." Via social media, the "Calm Down" singer announced on July 28 that he would be offering "$10K for whoever come up with an EASY dance for KELEBU."

Metro Boomin kicks off the month of August by declaring A Futuristic Summa on his new solo mixtape, which arrives with its very own throwback, MySpace-inspired website.
With 24 tracks spread across two discs, the project features a cavalcade of guest appearances by the likes of Future, Quavo, 2 Chainz, Lil Baby, T.I., Waka Flocka Flame, Young Thug, Gucci Mane, Travis Porter, Yung L.A., Rich Kidz, Roscoe Dash, JMoney, Young Dro and more — with the whole affair hosted by popular Atlanta producer DJ Spinz.
A proper collaboration between Tiwa Savage and Skepta has been a long time coming at this point, and the two artists deliver chemistry in spades with their single "On The Low."
Bookended by dual verses from the U.K. rapper, the song finds Savage asking for discretion in a relationship as she sings, "Say you wanna link on the low/ Lay between the sheets on the show/ So that no one could see us on the low." The duet is set to be included on the Queen of Afrobeats' upcoming album This One Is Personal (out Aug. 28), alongside recent Tamia-sampling single "You4Me."
LANY kick off the rollout for their newly announced sixth album Soft (out Oct. 10) with lead single "Know You Naked," an intimate love letter that leaves singer Paul Klein in awe as he pays tribute to "every inch and curve" of a lover's body.
"I know your shadow like I know your first name," he croons over layered production, later adding, "I know the shape that you take when you lay underneath me/ From memory, 'cause I'm the one that gets to know you naked/ I hope it's OK for me to say it."
That Mexican OT and Peso Peso are all about "Accessories" on their laidback new collaboration. The two rappers shout out everyone from Nelly and Big Moe to Soulja Boy and Baby Zay while listing off accoutrements from "grills and a throwaway" to Air Force 1s, cowboy hats, jewelry, and weapons.
"OT fallin' off? No, this is not the year," the Bay City, Texas rapper born Virgil René Gazca declares during one of his relentless stanzas before later adding during the chorus, "Me and Peso hittin' licks in the trench coat…Hrrt!"

At the end of May, Tim McGraw made an appearance at the first-ever Music City Rodeo in Nashville, headlining the three-day event along with Jelly Roll and Reba McEntire. "So we've been working on a new record," the country legend told the ecstatic crowd at the time, "and we thought that this song — if I can remember the words, I got 'em written down here — was appropriate for the night. I hope you like it."
Two months later, the live recording of "King Rodeo" is finally available to stream, with McGraw singing, "Hey King Rodeo, you're lookin' lonely/ Like you've lost your one and only" on the heartbroken ballad that's purportedly set to appear on the as-yet-untitled follow-up to his 2023 album, Standing Room Only.

Justin Bieber Is Back — And He’s Got 'Swag'
Four years after 'Justice' and over a decade into his GRAMMY legacy, Bieber returns with 'Swag' — a 20-track project featuring Gunna, Sexyy Red, Cash Cobain, and others.
Beliebe it or not, two-time GRAMMY winner and 23-time nominee Justin Bieber now has seven full-length albums to his name.
His newest, Swag, dropped Friday, July 11 to much fanfare, following Thursday’s swirling rumors and cryptic social media teasers. Bieber's latest features 20 tracks with guest appearances from Gunna, Sexyy Red, and Cash Cobain, along with contributions from Carter Lang, Dylan Wiggins, and longtime collaborator Eddie Benjamin.
Looking at the features list — which leans heavily into hip-hop — it wouldn’t be surprising if Swag signals yet another evolution in Bieber’s sound, a consistent throughline since his earliest days as a teen pop phenom.
Swag includes several earnest love songs, showcasing Bieber at his most intentional, soulful, and musically mature. Bieber swerves through an array of influences and textures, putting his versatility and emotional fluency front and center. Some tracks evoke an old-school, cozy-cool vibe; others bounce with new jack swing soul, ’80s and ’90s pop ballad flair, while subtle nods to gospel are woven throughout.
“Go Baby,” “Devotion,” and “Yukon” may ultimately rank among Swag*’s standouts — and yet, there’s something here for every Belieber.*
From the introspective R&B stylings of 2013’s Journals to the genre-blending polish of 2021’s Justice and now Swag, Bieber has repeatedly redefined his tone while consistently remaining sonically himself.
Swag also marks a turning point in Bieber’s personal and professional life. It’s his first album since parting ways with longtime manager Scooter Braun in 2023 — and his first since welcoming a child with wife Hailey Bieber earlier this year.
With Swag, the Canadian pop star may be adding another chapter to a GRAMMY legacy. His last album, 2021's Justice, earned eight nominations — including Album Of The Year and Song Of The Year for the chart-topping single "Peaches."
Bieber was first recognized at the 2011 GRAMMYs with nominations for Best New Artist and Best Pop Vocal Album for My World 2.0. He earned his first win in 2016 with "Where Are Ü Now" the genre-defying collaboration with Skrillex and Diplo’s joint project Jack Ü, as that year’s winner for Best Dance Recording. Bieber also earned a Latin GRAMMY Award in 2017 for his work on the global remix of"Despacito" with Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee, which won Best Urban Fusion/Performance.
His GRAMMY journey has also included several standout performances — including a stripped-down rendition of "Love Yourself" at the 2016 GRAMMYs, a cross-genre set with J Balvin and Tori Kelly at the 2019 and 2022 Ceremonies, his live performance of "Peaches" with Giveon and fellow Canadian, Daniel Caesar.
Whether he’s topping charts, crossing genres or gracing the stage at Music's Biggest Night, Bieber continues to evolve as a songwriter, collaborator, and performer. And with Swag, he reaffirms his place as one of pop’s most dynamic voices — and a mainstay in GRAMMY history.
